Duration of the contract: 33 months starting from the work commencement date, comprising a 6-month design phase and a 27-month construction phase, to be followed by a 60-month defect notification period

The overall objective of the contract SV-CL-02, LOT 2 is to increase the wastewater treatment capacity of the plant existing in the locality of Salcea, from the current population equivalent (P.E.) of 899 to 2602 P.E. Thus, following the completion of works under this contract, the new treatment capacity of the Waste Water Treatment Plant will be 3.501 P.E.

Also, the new facilities of the Waste Water Treatment Plant, namely the mechanical and biological treatment stages, will ensure the proper treatment of the collected wastewater and its discharge under safe conditions for human health as well as for the natural environment.
