LOT 2 – “Vatra Dornei water distribution system”

Duration of the contract: 31 months starting from the work commencement date, comprising a 6-month work design phase and a 25-month construction phase, to be followed by a 60-month defect notification period.
Commencement date of the design activities: February 16th, 2026
The scope of contract SV-CL-08, LOT 2 includes rehabilitation works for the following objectives that are part of the Vatra Dornei drinking water supply system:
– the Roșu water intake facility, located on the right bank of the Dorna River, approximately 3 km
upstream of the town of Vatra Dornei. These works include the rehabilitation of the mechanical
and hydraulic installations of the Dorna River water intake system, as well as the rehabilitation of the
buildings related to the raw water pumping station and the water treatment plant.
– the transmission main that conveys raw water from the Roșu pumping station to the Roșu water
treatment plant, as well as the transmission main that conveys drinking water from the Roșu water
treatment plant to the Runc reservoirs;
– the Runc drinking water reservoirs (with a storage capacity of 1 x 1,000 m3,
respectively 2 x 500 m3).
