SV-CL-09 „The extension and rehabilitation of water and wastewater networks in the locality of Câmpulung Moldovenesc”

Duration of the contract: 36 months starting from the work commencement date, to be followed by a 60-month defect notification period

Works to be carried out under this contract:

•  Water supply system:

- rehabilitation of ca. 800 m of water distribution networks, including the replacement of existing water house connections as well as the installation of underground and above ground fire hydrants;

- extension of water distribution networks by ca. 25 km, including metered house connections to the new water pipes, construction of water chambers and installation of underground hydrants;

- construction of 3 water pumping stations intended to increase the flow pressure in the following area: Ion Cocinschi st., Plaiul Deia st. and Mioriței st.;

•  Wastewater collection system:

- rehabilitation of ca. 550 m of existing sewerage networks and connecting all the users to the rehabilitated sewer pipes;

- extension of sewerage pipes by approx. 40 km and construction of house connections to the new pipelines;

- construction of 14 waste water pumping stations, including the discharge pipes (around 5.5 km in length) in order to facilitate the pumping of wastewater into various sections of the sewerage network where the geographic features of the ground do not allow for downhill gravity flow.
